My "favorite" word this week,
Incoherent, maybe because I've been
using it a lot lately.

No hay nada que me desagrade mas que:
la gente mentirosa y la que no sabe decir "gracias"

They told us "she needed this,
we have to intervene right away
she will be gone anywhere from 3 days to
no more than a week, after that we will
keep an eye on her progress.."

The whole family is devastated,
we don't know what to make of this whole
situation (for a lack of a better word)
all we know is that we are praying this
episode goes by fast & for the better.

Start.

I'm a person that gets bored quick.
I started a new "project" yesterday,
hopefully the enthusiasm will last longer this time.

So, en los ultimos 2 meses, mis hijos (sometimes Johnny) and I have been out of town, first a rito y luego a la family reunion, regresamos por 2 semanas y nos volvimos a hir, esta vez (el plan por lo menos era) solo los ninos y yo, pero como dice mi mama "uno pone y Dios dispone" el viaje no fue como planeado, llegamos al grand canyon bien, todo tranquilo, las vistas son espectaculares (you feel like you are looking at a picture, even when you are inside of it) dos dias y 2 Estados despues llegamos a Wyoming, first stop Jackson, para ver las Grand Titons, que basicamente son montanas de altura un tanto moderada que lo que las hacen "grand" es la nieve que hospedan todo el año, amyvays, otros dos dias despues nos encontramos en Yellowstone, donde debo de admitir me gusto, I mean ver esos geysers llenos de agua hirviendo, saber que estas literalmente caminando en un volcan, esos ecenarios naturales, the trails, the bike rides y hasta la cabin donde nos toco dormir, curada........tres dias despues a eso de las 12am (tiempo deYellowstone) empieza mi ordeal, my son (Franky para los que no sepan) se despierta con un ataque de asma (el no es asmatico) no puede respirar, salgo corriendo a llamar a mi suegro (que no solo padece de ese mal, sino que vende los productos que los doctores usan con sus pacientes) y me dice trae al niño para mi cuarto, lo tranquiliza pero al ver que su respiracion no normaliza, decide llamar a 911, 20 minutos despues, tienen a mi niño con suero y no se que tantas cosas, camino a la clinica del mismo sitio, los doctores deciden ahi que como no "suena bien el niño" (como si fuera carburador o no se que) nos mandan a Idaho (no hay hospital en yellowstone) a 3 horas de camino, nos lleva una ambulancia y como a hora y media, nos paramos literalmente in the middle of no f...where y nos transladan de una ambulancia a otra (from Idaho) an hour and 1/2 later we arrived at the hospital, me and my son, Gen stayed with her grandparents in yellowtone and Johnny is on his way from Cali. to Idaho..... my mind raising with nothing but bad thoughts at a speed that minds shouldn't be allowed to go. "This is a dream, wake up karina your dreaming, this is not happening".
Ultrasounds, breathing exercises and a few hours later they let me know that "everything came out clear" and as soon as my husband gets here they were going to let us go.
Needless to say our "vacation" was over, and we started to drive back home soon after my in laws got there with my daughter, a couple of more States, a fire in Nevada and a crap load of rain later we arrived in Sac.
Nunca habia estado tan contenta de ver Sacramento, my house y hasta mi pobre perra Savannah (who johnny left by herself for 3 days) poor thing.
My Son is good, my anxiety is calming, and now back to normality (per say).
The moral of the story is........Everything in this Country is Grand,Grand, Grand, aunque sea una pinche piedrita en el camino, si esta en este paiz es Grand ....Even the bills I'm going to be getting from the doctors, I bet you, they are going to be (like everything here) Grand

ps. Here are some pictures of the trip enjoy.
pps. The one with franky en el tractor es del dia en que salio del hospital.
